Pls add a pause button, cuz I hate having to do something else other than playing the game when it is still running and there's no way to stop it.

hey i just checked the game!
and I must say, this game is very retro! (in good and bad way lol and i don't mean the graphic)

for the plus, i love the style you are going for. some detailed stuffs are incredible (like rocks. i seriously love it) and 2 stages has its own distinct color scheme eventho there are many blues. everything is clear too (like which one is platform which one is background) so you definitely know what you are doing~ and ofc character sprites are so cute

and this is BIG PLUS, i really love the mechanic you are going for. took me awhile to understand the bubble mechanic, but making you able to jump on bubble is seriously genius! i even tried it to make a shortcut for higher platform lol. i also love how partner changes your attack. it can open up interesting stage gimmicks if you are going for that! it feels like kirby adventures 2/3? partners which is very appreciated.

but unfortunately i have problems on my end too;
for one, the movement is bit sluggish because it has slower acceleration and it feels slippery too. i can get used to it, but won't it be better if it's more snap-ish like say megaman or kirby?

and lastly, when i say bad way in very retro, this is what i mean; you potentially forced player to play 1 stage many times because of many partners on the stage because there are block type for each partner, which means you'll sacrifice the rest of types. i can't go back and change partner which means you'll stuck with that till you restart and find partner room again.
this might be demo, but i wish this isn't the design you'll be going for (I don't like it in older kirby games too)

other than those complains, i seriously love this game! keep up the good work and hopefully you'll test player with that harder bubble mechanic and cool gimmicks!

Nice game!

I like the chiptune music remixes used and the general retro look of the game!

The game plays really good, but I had a rough time trying to clear some of the longer jumps. I barely made it to the start of the second stage before I lost all my lives.

Also a heads up: Windows doesn't like the exe file you attached. I suggest you change it into a regular ZIP file that the player can extract manually.

Good job!

i am gonna play this for sure

I really like the old NES-styled graphics.
